2024-ൽ തെക്കേ കാനാട്ടു പറമ്പത്ത് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഒരു ചരിത്ര പ്രധാനമായ ചടങ്ങ് നടന്നു — നാഗ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. സർപ്പ ദേവതകൾക്ക് (നാഗ രാജൻ / നാഗ യക്ഷി) ഭക്തർ ആദ്യമായി ഔദ്യോഗിക പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ചടങ്ങ് നടത്തി. ഈ ചടങ്ങ് ക്ഷേത്ര ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു നാഴികക്കല്ലാണ്.
🐍 സർപ്പബലി — വാർഷിക ആരാധന
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എല്ലാ വർഷവും മീനം മാസം (മാർച്ച്) സർപ്പ ദേവതകൾക്ക് സർപ്പബലി നടത്തുന്നു. നാഗ ദോഷം, പിതൃ ദോഷം, കുടുംബ ദോഷം തുടങ്ങിയവ ശമനത്തിനും, കുട്ടികൾ ഇല്ലാത്തവർക്ക് സന്താന ഭാഗ്യത്തിനും ഈ ആരാധന ഫലം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ഭക്തർ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.

In 2024, Thekke Kanattu Parambathu Sree Bhagavathi Kshethram, Badiroor, Makkada, held a Naga Prathishta — the formal installation of the serpent deities (Naga Raja and Naga Yakshi). It is a milestone in the temple's history.
